New Scullers: Fall Youth Program for High and Middle School Students

Join the New Haven Community Boathouse Youth Fall Sculling Program for an exciting opportunity to learn sculling skills on the water! This comprehensive program combines both on-water training and land-based conditioning to provide a well-rounded rowing experience.

Program Highlights

Boat Types: Participants will have the opportunity to scull in single, double, and quattro shells, allowing for both individual skill development and team building experiences.

Schedule & Eligibility

• New Scullers: Monday & Friday from 4:15-5:30 PM
• Everyone: Sunday from 8:30-10:30 AM

Enrollment Details

• Class Size: Limited to 6 students per session to ensure personalized attention and safety
• Cost: FREE for New Haven Public School students
• Deposit: $50 refundable deposit required for program participation
• Deposit Refund Policy: Full refund available in the first week of November for participants who attend at least once per week

The deposit system helps ensure committed participation so program spots are reserved for families who will actively attend throughout the session.

If you have submitted a waiver and/or swim test in the past then you're all set.
