Sail Haven Boat Maintenance Session 11

Saturday, July 11th, 9am-12pm.

We are working on mid season repairs and maintenance.  Please come help!

Tasks for this Saturday include:

This time there really will be Pizza for all who help!

Work to be done:

• Mid Summer waxing of the small boats. It is time to get more wax on then, to keep them from discoloring and enable them to easily slide off and on the dollies at the dock.
• Launch the fourth Flying Scot.
• Launch the new 16' Buccaneer Power boat.
• • add fenders to her.
  • plan seats.
  • add cleats.
• Finish the repair on Sunfish "Delicious".
• Start repair on Laser.
• Flying Scot "Aurelian" 
• • back on the trailer.
  • Fill the "Dry Out" holes on the floor with epoxy.
• Check and replace missing battens in the 420 sails.

No experience necessary. Many hands make for light work. Stay for pizza and open sailing in the afternoon!
