This course covers safety, rigging, sail trim, and steering.

  • Takes place in the classroom and on-the-water
  • Taught in 19’ Flying Scot Daysailors
  • Prerequisites: Sail Haven Membership
  • Course goal: Sail Haven Level 1 - Beginner rating for open sailing

  1. The second class of this series takes place on Sunday morning June 7th, due to the Dragon Boat Festival at the boathouse on Saturday morning. Thank you for your understanding and patience. 
  2. if you’re unable to make the first lesson in a course you will be rescheduled into another course.
