Adventure Sailing Day

Sail Haven's “Adventure Sailing Day” is the perfect way for members to boost their sailing skills while enjoying some some sailing and socialization. As you navigate around other boats and master the courses, you'll find your sailing becoming more instinctive. Hopefully we will expose your sailing to some new skills. 

Events will be from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Schedule of events will be posted soon.

No RSVP required to race - just show up. 

Events will include:

• Sailing tours of the harbor - Marks will be set out as destinations around the harbor.
• Slalom course - try your skill at sailing this short course that involves many tacks and gybes.
• Rigging discussions - how to power and de-power your boat for different conditions.
• Chart reading/navigation and rules of the road discussion.
• Knot Challenge - how many can you tie?
