Dejanise Rivera

Dejanise Rivera, the latest addition to the Crew Haven team, is from the city of Bridgeport. Though a native of The Park City, she has worked in the city of New Haven for the past three years and considers New Haven to be her second home. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.A. in Sociology and feels her best when she is working with the families in the community. Dejanise has worked in different social work capacities with young adults, adults, and children with special needs. Deja feels confident and excited about the new role she has been blessed with as the Youth Program Manager for Canal Dock. She looks forward to serving the youth and families of New Haven at Canal Dock. Deja stated that “the opportunity to work with New Haven’s youth in such a unique program is beyond exciting. I know that this opportunity will change the lives of many, many young people in New Haven.”
